Nicole Sarrocco's poems have appeared in journals, pamphlets, broadsides, Seattle Metro buses, gumball machines, birthday party invitations, the lobby of SC Data, Inc., and, reportedly, on Australian public radio. Her work has won several awards, including a Galway Kinnell award and the Agnes Scott Writers' Festival Award. She also writes plays, screenplays, stories, essays, encyclopedia entries, doggerel, and copious lists. While Miss Sarrocco has never practiced karate, she was for some time a student of kung fu and arnis, the stick-fighting art of the Phillippines.
